extravaganza showcasing the music and dance of the '30s, '40s

once again present an All American 4th of July! Gates open at 5:00
p.m., game begins at 6:05 p.m. Fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Regular Admission
prices for the baseball game; Free admission for fireworks begins

4th of July Celebration
Enjoy an evening of free music and fireworks at the City of Palm
Desert’s annual Fourth of July celebration at the Civic Center
Park. The festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. with a 90-minute concert
by Steve Madaio. Fireworks will follow the concert at 9 p.m. with
synchronized music broadcast live on Mix 100.5. Bring a picnic dinner,
blankets and chairs to enjoy the concert and firework show. Drinks
and snacks will be available for purchase. No alcoholic beverages,
personal fireworks or portable barbeques are allowed. Free shuttle
service begins at 6 p.m. and will run throughout the evening from
The Gardens on El Paseo (San Pablo side, lower level) to the park.

Zoso's popular Friday Night Dive-In series kicks off today with
the full length film Cabaret. Each film will be hosted
by members of Cabaret Zoso, the award-winning weekly show at the
hotel. In addition, each evening will also benefit a charity, which
will raise funds through the sale of raffle tickets for great prizes

are asked to donate a canned good for Well in the Desert. Happy
