CV Days of los Muertos at Sunnylands
Sunnylands Center & Gardens, 37977 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270 / In a partnership with Raices Cultura, Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert (The Galen), and the Children’s Discovery Museum, Sunnylands Center & Gardens will celebrate CV Days of los Muertos. The Center & Gardens will be open during the evenings of October 28 and 29 from 6:15 – 9pm for guests to view the Dias de los Muertos altars and see the calavera (skull) designed especially for Sunnylands. The altars, installed throughout the Gardens, will remain on view through the weekend.

Halloween Palm Springs
Join thousands of incredible and unique costumed revelers for Halloween on Arenas Rd. in Palm Springs. Bands, DJs and singers along with cash and prizes for the costume contest. From October 26-30 there will be preliminary costume contests at Chill, Spurline, Hunters, Score and Streetbar with cash and prizes valued at over $200 at each contest.
Halloween on Arenas Rd. has become the not-to-miss event of the. Día De Los Muertos Celebration
In keeping with lively Mexican tradition, the Día De Los Muertos Celebration on Saturday, November 2nd, from 11am to 4pm, at Desert Memorial Park, is a vibrant homage to life filled with music, food, and a bright atmosphere. The day’s fiesta includes live music, Mariachis, dancers, food and merchandise vendors, a student art work contest, face painting, and children’s activities. Admission is free. Desert Memorial Park (Palm Springs’ version of Hollywood Forever Cemetery) is located at 31705 Da Vall Drive, Cathedral City, CA, 92234, about 8 miles from Palm Springs.
