Palm Springs Surf Club

The Palm Springs Surf Club, set to officially open its doors on January 1, 2024, is an exciting new addition to Southern California’s desert landscape. Located on the site of the former Wet ‘n’ Wild water park in Palm Springs, the 21-acre facility has been transformed into a state-of-the-art surf park that offers a variety of wave types suitable for all surfing levels, from beginners to advanced surfers.

The surf park uses innovative pneumatic wave technology developed by Tom Lochtefeld, which allows for customizable waves ranging from two to seven feet. This technology can accommodate up to 25 surfers at a time, providing a unique surfing experience in the desert. The facility also emphasizes environmental sustainability, using only 1% of the water volume required by a typical golf course and generating more than 70% of its energy resources in-house.

Food

The club features the Amala restaurant, which provides sustainable dining options. Amala offers a menu designed to fuel a day of surfing and play, emphasizing fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. This restaurant supports a sustainable eating philosophy, making it a great choice for those looking for health-conscious meals in an open, inviting atmosphere. The indoor/outdoor design of the restaurant allows guests to enjoy their meals while taking in the beautiful desert surroundings. Additionally, the club includes three full bars, offering custom cocktails and beers on draft, which complement the vibrant, leisurely atmosphere of the surf club.

Cabanas

For those seeking a more private and exclusive experience, the Palm Springs Surf Club offers cabana rentals. These cabanas provide a comfortable and stylish space for relaxation and privacy away from the general activity of the surf park. They are ideal for guests who want a dedicated space to relax with family or friends, enjoy personalized service, or simply take a break from surfing and sunbathing. The cabanas at the Palm Springs Surf Club are strategically placed to offer excellent views of the surfing action and the scenic desert landscape, ensuring that guests can enjoy the excitement and beauty of the club in comfort.

In addition to surfing, the Palm Springs Surf Club features various attractions including dining venues, waterslides, lounge pools, a lazy river, indoor/outdoor event venues, and a social club with bottle service and a viewing deck. The club aims to provide world-class entertainment and create a vibrant community-based destination that caters to both surfers and non-surfers.
