The 27th annual Nabicso Dinah Shore is set for March 23-29, 1998 in Rancho Mirage, California. The Desmond Muirhead-designed Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club is the celebrated location with its famous 18th green and spectacular mountain views.

Referred to as the "Masters" of woman's professional golf, this is the first of only four majors on the LPGA Tour and the only major in Southern California. Expected to join defending champion Betsy King are, Patty Sheehan, Amy Alcott, Dottie Pepper, Nancy Lopez, Annika Sorenstam, Karrie Webb, Laura Davis, Kelly Robbins, Juli Inkster, Pat Bradley and a host of other famous names in the game.

Golf fans can see their favorite LPGA stars during Monday's practice round and Tuesday and Wednesday in the Celebrity Pro-am. Celebrities from entertainment and sports have included Alice Cooper, Don Meredith, Susan Anton, Brooks Robinson, Alan Thickem William Devane and Toni Tenille.
