A place to hold a party in the Palm Springs area?

I'm looking for a mid-size conference room to hold a female-oriented event in the Palm Springs area, preferably Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage or Palm Desert. I would like a nice location that is not too expensive for about 20 people. Before I start calling from hotel to hotel, I would love to know if anyone has any recommendations.

Hyatt Grand Champions is a great suggestion - there's also Rancho Las Palmas to consider.
