Relocating?

We have been considering moving to the Palm Springs area (well, more like Joshua Tree) for quite a while now. We live in a rural area, and one of the reasons we don't like it is the off-road vehicle problem. I was wondering if anyone who lives in the rural areas could tell me if there is a problem with off-road vehicles being invasive there? Thanks.

So I can plan on moving to Joshua Tree with no worries about noisy off road vehicles driving by the house day and night...? Can anyone suggest a quiet area? I want to be away from the highway (noise) as well as people, etc.

When you say "away from people" - are you looking for a home on acreage? Or just a basically a quiet neighborhood away from it all? Are you looking to buy or rent? What's your price range?
