I will be visiting Palm Springs/La Quinta area at Christmas time and wonder where I can buy organic/dine organic in the area? Thanks.

I would recommend Nature's RX Health Food Market in Palm Springs. They offer a wide selection of organic fruits and vegetables, vitamins and herbs. They also have a cafe that is open for breakfast and lunch that offers a wide selection of non-meat burgers made of tempeh, falafel or nuts. Their Mayan-Aztec, Spanish and Italian-inspired offerings include bean burritos, soy strip fajitas, veggies Azteca and pasta pomodoro. There is also a great array of non-dairy shakes and fresh fruit smoothies!
Here is their contact info:
Nature's RX
