JULY 2 - AUGUST 7, 2005
Featuring a selection of new work by your favorite gallery artists TIM
FORCUM, ROB HOMSY & BRUCE
JOHANSEN, as well as newcomers ALTON ISINGS and JASON HILL.
Exciting new works by Jason Hill (PHOTOS BELOW) begin with original photographs
of classic Palm Springs buildings and scenes. Next, he hand paints each
image with bright acrylic paint, giving them a distinctly Pop Art feel.
With a background in architectural design, Alton Isings brings an achitect's
attention to detail, space and design to his minimalist linear works (PHOTO
BELOW). Working with colored glass tiles mounted on wood panel, his "Colored
Tartan" combines elements of craft, architecture and formalist painting
all in one. Also on view will be a selection of newly-arrived mid-century
and vintage pieces. |
