Sarah Robarts was born in Uganda in 1969 and spent most of her early life in Kenya before departing for England where she received her formal education. Sarah trained in Fine Art at Queen's University, Canada where she held many of her early exhibitions. She recently relocated from London to Palm Springs, California to open her studio and continue her work as a Designer. Sarah has dealer representation Paris, Toronto, London and Palm Springs.

As a painter, her work is primarily inspired by the environment and light from experiences in Africa, Canada and the South of France. Sarah Robart's works are about color. Color carries the emotional content of her work. Subject matter is derived from nature. The objects and landscapes are suggested - as opposed to naming them precisely. Her work is very painterly and gestural.
